RECENT reports claim the impact of global warming is becoming more evident and suggest carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are a key contributor to the phenomenon. As a result, truck and diesel engine manufacturers are under pressure to provide cleaner diesel engines that are also more fuel efficient, and to put forward non-diesel alternative power sources for vehicles.
